This Privacy Notice describes how St Mark’s Players (“SMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses your personal information in relation to SMP websites, services, events, and experiences that reference this Privacy Notice (together, the “SMP Services”). This Privacy Notice applies to you if you interact with SMP Services or visit the St Mark’s Players website (located at https://www.stmarksplayers.org/).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use the SMP Services. This Privacy Notice also does not apply to any products, services, websites, or content that are offered by third parties or have their own privacy notice.

Examples of information we receive from other sources including marketing, lead generation, and recruitment information, including your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or other similar contact information.

How We Use Personal Information

We use your personal information to operate, provide, and improve the SMP Services. Our purposes for using personal information include:

Providing the SMP Services: We use your personal information to provide the SMP Services and process transactions related to the SMP Services, including registrations, email marketing, purchases, and donations.
Measure, Support, and Improve the SMP Services: We use your personal information to measure use of, analyze performance of, fix errors in, provide support for, improve, and develop the SMP Services.
Recommendations and Personalization: We use your personal information to recommend the SMP Services that might be of interest to you, identify your preferences, and personalize your experience with the SMP Services.

The following are the various types of cookies used on the St Mark’s Players website.

Session Cookies: Session Cookies are used to operate the St Mark’s Players website.
Preference Cookies: Preference Cookies remember your preferences and various settings on the St Mark’s Players website.
Security Cookies. Security Cookies are used for security purposes, such as protecting the St Mark’s Players website from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.

How We Store and Share Personal Information

We store and share personal information only as described below.

Third-Party Service Providers

We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include: online platform infrastructure, sending communications, processing payments, analyzing website data, and providing marketing and sales assistance (including advertising and event management). These third-party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Further, they must process that information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and as permitted by applicable data protection law.

Auditions

The St Mark’s Players use SignUpGenius, Inc. ("SignUpGenius") to intake your personal information when you sign up to participate in a St Mark's Players show. Email Marketing

The St Mark’s Players use The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp (“Mailchimp”) to send you marketing emails about the SMP Services. Mailchimp is part of the Intuit group of companies and is a subsidiary of Intuit Inc.to send marketing emails. For more information on how Mailchimp handles your information on behalf of the St Mark’s Players, please refer to the Intuit Global Privacy Statement.

Payments

We use third-party services for payment processing on behalf of the SMP Services and St Mark’s Players. We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies.

All direct payment gateways used in connection with the SMP Services adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

The payment processors we work with are:

PayPal: Any personal information provided during the payment process with PayPal will be handled in accordance with the PayPal Privacy Statement.

Ticket Reservations

The St Mark’s Players use Ticket Tailor, which is the trading name of Zimma Ltd, to manage tickets reserved or sold in connection with the SMP Services. Ticket Tailor processes your personal information solely on our behalf. Website

The St Mark’s Players website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to advertise the SMP Services to you. Your information may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications on behalf of the St Mark’s Players for the purpose of allowing us to facilitate the provision of the SMP Services to you and to analyze how to better improve those services. Protection of Us and Others

We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our terms and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or security of St Mark’s Players, you, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud prevention and detection.

At Your Option

Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when personal information about you might be shared with third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

The SMP Services may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy notice of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes To This Privacy Notice

We may update our Privacy Notice from time to time. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Notice.
