St Mark's Players: Welcome & General Requirements

WELCOME!

Thank you for auditioning with the St Mark's Players!

Please audition only if you are seriously interested in being cast.

Please read the information below carefully, as it contains critical details about this show, your obligations if cast, and the St Mark's Players in general. You must answer the questions and complete this form in order to be considered for casting.

The most critical points about this show and the St Mark's Players are as follows:

  1. You will be expected to be at rehearsals on time, and ready to work.

  1. We are an active company where everyone in the cast and crew participates in moving sets, resetting from church to theater and vice versa each weekend and during weekday resets, and striking the show following our final performance.  Everyone is expected to participate in these endeavors. Tasks during these activities will be assigned to match your capabilities by the stage manager, but all cast members must participate.

  1. Please list all known and potential conflicts when you fill out the audition form. Be sure to include EVERYTHING. We generally can work with your schedule if we know of conflicts in advance. If some new conflict should arise, you are expected to communicate immediately with the Stage Manager.

  1. We are a welcoming and inclusive community theater company. We put people first. We strive to be a safe space for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, ability, or gender and sexual orientation. Everyone involved with the Players must support these ideals.

  1. We perform on Thursdays at 8pm, Fridays at 8pm, and Saturdays at 8pm. There is one Saturday matinee performance during the second weekend of shows.

  1. All cast members must pay a $10 script fee ($11 if paying with credit card to cover fees). Cast members are also responsible for their own shoes and make-up.

Thank you, again, for auditioning with the St Mark's Players.
