M. BUTTERFLY

by DAVID HENRY HWANG

Directed by
Rick Hayes

"M. Butterfly" is set in the 1950's during the French Vietnam War.  It is the love story of a French diplomat and a Chinese Opera Singer.  Weaving into the play many parallels with and ultimately ironic reversals of, Puccini's opera, "Madame Butterfly", this show explores stereotypes that underlie and distort relations between Eastern and Western culture, and between men and women.
**This show contains adult themes and nudity.**
