Robert Joyce Memorial Fund

Robert Joyce was a very gifted choreographer, dancer and actor who was a treasured friend and member of the St. Mark's Players. Robert performed in The Music Man in 1994 and choreographed Brigadoon in 1995. He taught dance with grace and imagination. After his death in August, 1995 (as he was preparing to choreograph our production of Quilters), his mother named the St. Mark's Players as recipient of contributions made in his name.

The Board of Directors of the Players has approved the creation of The Robert Joyce Memorial Fund, and from it, makes contributions to the St. Mark's Dance Studio for study, workshops, and other worthy projects in Robert's name. Contributions to this special fund will continue to honor Robert's memory. We are grateful to Robert's family for this special way to focus on his creative gifts, and to continue to share them with others in dance and theatre.
