From Virginia, Points South and West
Enter Washington, DC, using the Roosevelt, Memorial or 14th Street Bridges. Follow signs for Independence Avenue. On Independence Avenue travel east by the Smithsonian Museums and past the United States Capitol Building. At 2nd Street, SE, Independence Avenue bears right and turns into Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
You will want to be in the Left Hand Lane. Follow the jog in the road
toward Independence Avenue and turn left onto 3rd Street, SE. St. Mark's Episcopal Church is one block north at 3rd and A Streets, SE.
From Maryland, Points North and East
Enter Washington, DC, traveling south on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (295). From 295,
DO NOT TAKE NY AVE, continue toward Richmond to the East Capitol Street exit west toward RFK Stadium. Follow East Capitol as it curves around RFK Stadium and turns into C Street, NE. Follow C Street until it forks left to North Carolina Avenue, NE. Follow North Carolina Avenue for two blocks to Constitution Avenue, NE. Turn right onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue to 4th Street, NE. Turn left onto 4th Street heading south. Continue on 4th Street to A Street, SE. Turn right onto A Street. St. Mark's Episcopal Church is one block west at 3rd and A Streets, SE.
From Maryland, Points South
Enter Washington, DC, traveling north on I-295. From 295, take the exit toward 8th Street, SE. Turn left onto I Street, SE, and follow I Street west for two blocks. Turn right on to 8th Street, and continue north to Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. Turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue. From Pennsylvania Avenue, turn right onto 3rd Street, SE. St. Mark's Episcopal Church is one block north at 3rd and A Streets, SE.
